This is not poison ivy. It is trumpet creeper (though hard to tell from the picture).
These leaves are pinnately compound (in rows mirrored across the stem), and are not in groups of three.
The leaves are slightly elliptical, though they have a few more points than is usually found on poison ivy.
The vines behind the leaves do not have small hairy roots holding it to the tree.
In the summer, there will be bright orange flowers.
