In the honored tradition of "Where's Waldo" by Martin Handford (ISBN 0-316-34293-9 (If you don't have this book, you should. It's magnificant!)), I bring to you: Where's Shaggy?
Here's Waldo:
In the pictures below, you must find Shaggy. Here's Shaggy:
Despite the surprising resemblance, Shaggy carries his shovel in his left hand, because T filled his backpack with flower and tree books! Here he is getting started. See if you can find him in the picture. Hint: Look for Shaggy, not Waldo!
Notice Shaggy is still smiling. He must not have discovered those extra pounds of books yet... (T's husband knows better than to bring a backpack.) Here, he is stopping to fill the canteen.
Pit stop to check and make sure the fire is out before embarking on THE GREAT WILDERNESS HIKE, where T will stop every three steps to point out flowers, trees, bugs, leaves, grass, dead weeds, and anything else that looks interesting.
This next one is a toughy. Shaggy is hiding in the shadows (on a bright sunny day). See if you can spot him!
Here Shaggy rests a moment because T is taking a picture of the small trickle of a stream just behind the fence. Hint: he is hiding behind some leaves.
In this next picture, you can find Shaggy if you look really hard. He's camouflaged himself against a rock.
In this next picture, Shaggy shows off his fine hat. Of course, you have to find him to see this! Hint: he is not hiding behind that tree.
T sure does stop a lot to look at things! Why, check out these ferns. I think she stopped to look at every single fern along the trail!
Woohoo!!! We reached the end of the hike! Um... Er... What happened to all of Shaggy's gear? See if you can find where he lost it.
