This was my first attempt at a banner, originally for the Geocities banner exchange program. The file size was
way too big for them. For me too, but then, this was before I figured out some nifty tricks on keeping your graphics
file size small.
Here is the second banner that was in the Geocities banner exchange program. At least it's the correct size (7.73k).
This was before I figured out what it means by "non-dithering" colors. Notice those dots in the upper
half of the banner? Those are there because the yellow background color I chose wasn't in the 216 non-dithering
colors set. Now I reference

as I choose colors for my graphics.
Not too bad, considering both dragons are missing their back legs.
