Action: Minimize, Maximize, and Resize Windows

Cube and measurement windows can collapse to small tags and come back, and every window can be sized up or down. This keeps a busy scene manageable.

Minimize and maximize a single window

Every cube and measurement window has three small round buttons in its header:

  • − ("This") — minimize just this window to a small tag.
  • ++ ("Max all") — maximize every window in the scene at once.
  • -- ("Min all") — minimize every window in the scene at once.

A minimized cube window becomes a tag showing that cube's letter and location. A minimized measurement window becomes a tag showing the two cube letters and the distance between them. Tap a tag to expand it again.

Freshly spawned cubes start minimized, so adding cubes does not flood the scene.

Minimize or maximize everything from the app window

The app window carries the same ++ (Max all) and -- (Min all) buttons — handy when no cube window is in reach.

Resize all windows (Window Size slider)

The Window Size slider on the app window sets how big windows appear. It runs from about 2.5 inches to 1 meter wide, with the current size shown in centimeters and inches beside it. Moving it resizes every open window at once, and the setting is remembered between launches.

Windows also grow with distance on their own, so they stay readable far away, and stay small up close so they never loom in your face. The slider sets the starting size that behavior builds on.

Angle windows

Angle windows are small and always open — they cannot be minimized one at a time. To clear them, hide or isolate angle windows from the app window (see Action - Show, Hide, and Isolate Windows).
