Action: Spawn and Remove Cubes
Spawn a cube
You can add a cube two ways:
- From a cube's own window — press Spawn Cube. The new cube appears about 20 cm to the right of that cube.
- From the app window — press Spawn Cube. It adds a cube beside the one you last worked with (dragged, rotated, or spawned).
A new cube arrives minimized: its window and the new measurement windows all start as small tags, so adding cubes does not flood the scene. Maximize any you want to read.
Each cube gets its own letter in the order it is placed: the first is A, the next B, on to L at the limit of twelve. Measurement lines to every existing cube appear at once, along with angle readouts for every new triangle.
The cube limit
You can have up to 12 cubes at once. At the limit, the Spawn button reads Cube Limit Reached (or Cube Limit) and is disabled. Remove a cube to free a slot.
Twelve cubes make a lot of lines, since every pair gets one, so the scene is busiest at the top end. Hiding or isolating windows helps (see Action - Show, Hide, and Isolate Windows).
Remove a cube
- On the cube's window, press Destroy Cube, then confirm.
- Removing a cube also removes every measurement and angle that involved it.
- Its letter frees up. The other cubes keep theirs, and the next cube you spawn takes the earliest free letter — remove B from A, B, C, and the next cube you place becomes the new B.
Destroying the last cube
Removing your only cube ends the workspace: the immersive scene closes and the saved arrangement is cleared, so Restore has nothing left to bring back. It does not ask first — the window that would ask is closing too. If you only want a clean slate, press Restart on the app window instead, which leaves you with one fresh cube.
Confirmations
Destroying any other cube asks "Remove cube?" first, because it also deletes every measurement connected to it. Press Remove Cube to go ahead, or Cancel to back out.
